Sint-Maarten is the access to well-being in a snap. Enchanting landscapes, exotic and rejuvenating. Choosing to go there is to feel good already.

 

It is for all these reasons that, as a sports educator specializing in fitness, I chose to set up my business here. An energetic and powerful Saint-Martin that breathes some of its magic into your sports practices. 

 

(Who said that getting back into sports was necessarily exhausting?) Start or get back to exercising, find the motivation, make the choice to be assisted by a professional.

What is fitness and wellness coaching?

A Personal Trainer is a sports professional specialized in fitness. Thanks to his expertise, this professional, through his assessment, will accompany you during an individual, tailor-made training, taking into consideration your objectives and their feasibility. He organizes, motivates and accompanies you during a diverse and secure practice which will allow you to reach your objectives more quickly or simply to maintain them. It is a person of advice and listening who brings you a physical and mental well-being.  

With Therapies Prestiges, you will find sports professionals who, thanks to their expertise, will be able to guide you in your physical needs. Teamwork is the key. They will know how to direct you to the best professional if at any time you need a check-up or a treatment by a physiotherapist or kinesiologist. 

Astrid's approach

Fully convinced of the health benefits of physical activity, sports and art, and concerned about the well-being of others, I do everything I can to make you feel in harmony with your body and mind. My mantra is "Move and Feel Better". 

My passion for sports has led me to experience a wide range of sporting activities and to pursue a university degree in sports. I chose to specialize in fitness, as music is the common denominator of many concepts and as a Caribbean person, music is the rhythm of my life, so what better way to work than with music.
I enjoy leading individual and group sessions for training, animation and education.  
After working in one of the biggest fitness centers in the Caribbean, I was able to acquire certifications in a number of concepts such as LesMills (body attack, body jam, body balance, Grit) and do physical preparation for jet ski racers and people preparing for competitions.
Then the desire to share my knowledge and my love for my vocation, the opportunity was given to me to intervene in training. 

I remain a person attentive to the evolution of my profession as well as my perception of it, which invites me to maintain a continuous training and to offer the best.

Circuit training is a training method involving the performance of several exercises one after the other, with almost no recovery time. This is a great way to get your heart pumping and your body sweating. This is an activity that is accessible to everyone, even when resuming sports for health and/or well-being or following an injury. It can also be a great way to prepare for a specific physical training and improve or even increase skills and performance.
