Yoga and Pilates classes on paddle board

What if we offered you all the benefits of yoga and pilates on a huge floating mat? That's the crazy bet of our yoga and pilates classes on a paddle board. The paddle board is a board that floats on the water and is big enough and stable enough to allow something else, from a practical point of view, than a walk on water. 


Our constant quest to balance the body and to build up the body's muscles in an ever more complete way has led us to give these classes. Originality, accomplishment and freedom from rules, this is what yoga or pilates classes on a paddle board offer you. Being in a natural, soothing and rejuvenating environment such as a lake, a river, the sea or a body of water increases the feeling of well-being of the mind and body. Can you imagine? Practicing a sport you like or want to discover on the water! You can even take a dip after the session if you feel like it, which is a great way to relax and give your body a wave massage. 


The practice of paddleboarding is very similar to yoga and pilates in terms of muscle feeling and sensation, which is what makes these practices work so well together.

The coordination, breathing and balance exercises are exciting and really interesting to work on the deep muscles and stabilizing muscles. It is important to understand that all the cues you think you know about your postures on dry land will be gone. You will have to readapt yourself on this paddle board and reinvent your practice to find a greater stability. Concentration, breathing, precision will be a mantra to be recited throughout your practice.


A yoga and/or pilates session on a paddle board is a great way to relax and tone up your body. There is no contraindication to practice this class, nor is it necessary to have already practiced paddle boarding, however, it is important to know that weather conditions can postpone a session. Of course, you must be able to swim and enjoy the water. So, are you tempted? Do you want to challenge yourself and your balance and athletic beliefs in a yoga and/or pilates class on a paddle board? If so, the coach will be happy to receive you during her next session, either individually or in a group (at least two people), the choice is yours.
