Strengthening classes

Strength training refers to the techniques and procedures that will increase a person's muscle strength, mass gain, speed, power and muscular endurance. It is a complete sport discipline that is carried out using multiple exercises to strengthen the body and its muscles. Muscle strengthening can be practiced with machines and/or accessories but also with body weight using specific movements that your coach has the secret.


 

At Therapies Prestiges, we understand that muscle strengthening is an important part of any treatment and that having a strong body can help relieve many of the major disorders and pathologies in a meandering treatment path. Whether it's after surgery or an injury, movement is often the key to regaining full health. Muscle strengthening can also be practiced for injury prevention and sports performance purposes. It is a complete discipline which, beyond the purely sporting aspect, has several health benefits : 

  • a healthier cardiovascular system,

  • reducing abdominal and back pain,

  • improving the body's posture,

  • joint strengthening,

  • tension strengthening,

  • increasing muscle strength,

  • weight loss,

  • better bone density,

 

Each session will include muscle strengthening exercises that are unique and different from one session to the next. This may include weight training, resistance training, straps or indoor bikes. Each session can be done individually so that the muscular reinforcement is targeted and precise according to your needs or collectively, with a minimum of two people, to offer a moment of exchange, socialization and physical challenges. There is no better choice between individual and group sessions, in fact, it depends on what you are looking for on your side for your health.

Circuit training is a training method involving the performance of several exercises one after the other, with almost no recovery time. This is a great way to get your heart pumping and your body sweating. This is an activity that is accessible to everyone, even when resuming sports for health and/or well-being or following an injury. It can also be a great way to prepare for a specific physical training and improve or even increase skills and performance.
